Welp, certainly didn't expect this. I thought this was gonna be the story of two misfits striking out in the world, Jane and Hana.
Instead, we're following the more complicated route of a former scientist consumed by guilt and a human experimentation product being looked after by a mother figure while he strikes out in the world.
To be honest, I think the first option would have been more interesting… having Murasaki will make things easier for Hana, since he'll have more emotional support.
