Adapting any more than 1 is strange given it's title. You're saying it adapted The Story Of How I Couldn't Enter The Mountains (山に入れなくなった話) too? It wasn't just one of the Hanging Town side stories?

Yep, this one ends in Volume 3. That story is Volumes 4-5.
