Yeah, she's got a different family dynamic from Shintaro. Each of them admires the other's family dynamic - and most importantly they've communicated that with each other.
She had some growing pains with her family's lifestyle. This one part doesn't make the overall chapter any less wholesome imo, it just adds a dash of realism to her characterization.
God, this is defo my new HoriMiya. No bs, adults are adults, no silly drama and cliches. Plus actually likable MCs that can sort out their problems through talking.
