That was really fun! I'm practically sold already; if the next few chapters don't mess up horribly, I'm sure I will continue to enjoy this series. After all, this chapter clicked with me in a way few first chapters do.
Someone else mentioned that this is like Bug Ego, but I personally think this chapter felt much more grounded. Although the story itself is fantastical, the ideas and themes are quite down-to-earth. In this sense, I find this series to have a lot of genuine heart.
Note: the MangaPlus version localized "James and the Giant Peach" from "Carlos Ghosn," to make it more understandable for non-Japanese audiences. Thankfully, Home Alone 2 is universal.
I randomly checked this out on a whim – this wasn't even on my radar – and I was pleasantly surprised. I need to follow my whims more often.
