Im in love with this series. Something so simple like "Im sorry" to prevent unnecessary tension escalation. And Kokoro realizing that Makoto could be uneasy as well when seeing her with the dude is lovely, then talking things out preventing more unnecessary misunderstanding and drama. Really lovely!
