A 3-month break on almost all recent chapters is just insane and kills the manga. Rather than the artist, I wonder what the hell is the editor doing.

Because Asley is the better series, and I mean that objectively: The character designs are more diverse (I don't see the same face repeated between several characters), the overarching plot carries more weight and affects the world more dramatically, the characters all have their own motivations and goals that aren't based on "shag the MC" and the fights are something out of an action shonen with greater length and complexity than this manga. The world is far more fleshed out, too.

Subjectively, I prefer Asley because I like the premise more and think it all comes together better.

Vampire girl asked him to meet her in the Evening, yet he rushes to meet with her at lunch time and she was already there waiting for him? Did the translators mess up or was it just like that?

Did he really have to ditch the guild girl just cause he happened to spot the demon lord on the street? He bangs her literally every night anyway. I get that he likes the demon lord the best, but if that's the case, can't he like fucking stop stringing guild girl along forever and never doing anything with her? At least pretty much every other chick got some action at some point, but for some reason he's gotta continuously give guild girl false hope and crush it over and over. He's just a fucking douchebag at this point, even though he's played up as a nice guy in every other sense. It's jarring.

There it is, the fanservice chapter featuring the harem. Laila, Dee, Milia and Iris. Laila and Dee love him, Milia has a crush on him, and Iris is attracted to him. IIRC he's also banged both Laila and Iris with Laila expressly permitting him to cheat on her. He's actually kinda promiscuous having banged at least 4 different ladies in my count, two of whom are practically mob characters: Tanya, that random adventurer in an alley and Leynora, the secretary of that date rape drugging prince from the Rubens holy kingdom.

F for the tanned dark elf choco lovers, for Rosie turned out to be a regular fair-skinned elf.

The other surprise is that Dee actually just wanted to fish by the rocks... how tame for a manga with a sexually active male lead like this guy. So he's technically a four-timing bastard in this chapter. Or maybe three with Laila fine with being a cuckqueen as long as she's the wife he comes home to every night...
