Obvious Point:

• Your skill essentially determines your job/life.
• You don't know what it is until it's randomly assigned. And what you want, train for has no impact on what you get.

Therefore

• No point in training or planning ahead of time.
• Everyone just waits to this point in life to find out what they've been assigned.
• No one would make firm plans for life or relationships until after their skill has been decided.

More fun:
