I agree. But there are certain animes that relies on 3D CGI due to how the show is animated and budgets, and it still looks good. Best example of these are Initial D and Wangan Midnight.

Also if 3D CGI is done right, we can get animes like Solo Leveling, on which the actions scenes are both done in 3D CGI and hand drawn.

It's not anime, but go look up big top burger. They use an interesting mix of 3d and 2d art in a way that makes it really hard to tell unless you're looking really closely.

I wouldn't be so sure here. His goal to kill the goddess is repeatedly portrayed as a obsession and his actions towards this goal, ie. killing, deceiving and manipulating people, can be for certain described as psychopathic.

IDK why you think it's obsessive, it's never portrayed that way. Obsessive == out of control, unable to stop doing it. Vs Touka who is very controlled and doing exactly what he wants to do. And it's not like he doesn't do other things along the way.

To clarify, Touka passes off his benevolent actions as selfish actions. If he was truly selfish, then he would be willing to do malevolent things to further his agenda - but he never does, and is never even tempted to do so.

The same line was in the Anime as well so yeah, I interpret it that way. It would be at least something novel and interesting when the MC isn't just a cringy edgelord but actually knowingly a psycho.

one thing this chapter tried to point out but is hard to realize is that, the deaths of the fighters in that battle against the two confidants effectively wore down on the military power on most of the other nations, allowing the goddess to exert her power more over them.
