GROANNNNNN Another one of those "I got abandoned by my classmates" series because the author wrote 99.99% of the classmates as assholes and/or idiots. And it's even worse here since the Goddess literally sends him off to die, and no one questions that? I am fucking dizzy from rolling my eyes just from this.

And of course, it's also one of those "My skills are 'trash' but actually they're overpowered" series. No way in hell would his paralyze and poison work 100% and do enough damage when he's level one and fighting a lvl 258 minotaur. I'd give it a pass if he desperately had to spam poison/paralyze on the minotaur (so it stacks?), but he didn't even depict him doing that at all.

... okay, so the fucks from the instant death skill isekai kinda had an excuse for having zero empathy, since the "blessings" they got literally removed that aspect. These do not. they watched, proof of fucking concept as the goddess just possibly murdered a dissenter before their very eyes. Makes it feel a little contrived?
@Rayster

But it's not unrealistic?

Bystander syndrome is a thing, and highschool classes in Japan is a giant clique.

The guy who's not friends with anyone in class, isn't memorable, is more of an outsider than an otaku character for Japanese highschoolers (and even other countries that's the case).

When confronted by a crisis, humans fall to level of their instintcs. And humans are super tribalistic herd animals.Almost all the cases of estrangement of show that our tribal instincts would take over and group would protect its members as long as possible.
And no, being the class loner woud not make you an outsider.

So even Arifureta is more realistic as the "killing" of mc was done due to personal reasons by a single opportunistic killer.

Bystander effect is a totally different thing. This is not an individual crisis. Everyone is abducted and only one is outed. this would trigger tribal preservation instincts way before any cynic reasoning. There is no diffusion of resposibility here, the goddes is doing it. The observed social response of indifference would collapse the moment someone stepped up. There is fear of consequences, goddes is not shown to be hostile to dissent until after someone dissents.
