Just as I expected. No matter how serious the sparring is, there should be witnesses or at least a doctor. Having noone to witness means that the evil brother can say anything about the sparring and it'd be accepted as the truth. Not to mention about the fixed criteria of the spar, which the evil brother changed whimsically.

Indeed. He's not an idiot, and he knows how to keep his actions outwardly socially-acceptable. But that very capability and keen sense (and how he's choosing to employ it, and also how he hasn't ) make him all the more clearly complicit in all the abuse stemming from their family's toxic hierarchy.
