Children are so fucking mean and I am dreading what we will see next chapter. From the glimpse we saw many chapters ago, they lowkey convinced the other girl to FUCKING JUMP and MC couldn’t save her friend. The supernatural element in her scar could indicate someone or some thing shielded her from the full extent of the trauma so she doesn’t remember everything that happened, like seeing her friend’s dead body.

The theory that the other monster girl was created with the girl’s body would tie it all up with a nice ribbon as a reason why the slime dad knows about things well enough to manipulate it into making MC feel guilty. As far as I remember he never possessed Liu Hai to know her memories, right? Idk
