On Page 4 MC's explanation ends with Yan's way of conversing have the 'lag' that comes with the 2nd way of learning. So it's not that her way of speaking 'suggests' it's the 2nd, but there's a noticeable thing.

On page 19 the queen simply said 'a/the child' (kodomo) i.e. referring to their custom of not harming children.
