It's tremendously hard to sympathize with this piece of shit MC. He goes preaching about people who won't follow rules and people who seek revenge making him sick BUT are we forgetting he is doing the same in chapter 1? Using magic to cheat death and reincarnate to get revenge?
Plus, his main motivation is fame and power. Bruh, you are free to do whatever the f*ck you want but don't go judging others for having their own circumstances. Like why would you shame the villagers for seeking revenge on the murderer of their loved ones? (In the first place the only reason he is keeping the tribe's chief alive is t[ get his hands on the magic crystals).Why threat them to release these savages just to "own" the (rightfully) enraged victims? On top of that he is pretty much about to kidnap a little girl just to use her.
