Not bringing up why the living room is so far away from the house's entrance? Or is it actually normal for living rooms not to be near the entrance?

I guess I'm just too used with living rooms being near the entrance, since it's where you are supposed to treat your guests so it'd be kinda rude to make them walk so far, not to mention if an unwanted guest arrives and you don't want to show them the insides of your house.

wow like my theory last chapter, the flowers placed on the road mean there was someone die on the street, i think it an acidient by the Misaki company so they put flowers on the road. So because there was an acidient in front of the entrance they think it will be a bad luck so they ask to change the entrance, the Misaki company cause the acidient so they agree and change the entrance
