I mean one shouldn’t force themselves but with trans women , I’m sure some feel like they’d have to “overcompensate” for their femininity as opposed to being trans and a “butch lesbian” , and drag is considered a “performance” , tho I can imagine Japan being repressed about that stuff to where even if ur cishet , eating sweets as a man is considered too “feminine” or some bs like that

Good point on all of that. I know that it's a big pressure on society for one to be very masculine. I know a japanese rock singer was saying how Japanese need to be more masculine.

It’s kinda ironic tho bc at least in some animanga if ur “too” muscular and not in a judo club or so you’d seem like a delinquent or something , not sure if it’s still a trend tho I’d expect ppl to just double down on it and wear some visual kei makeup

Yeah, I don't know anybody else who does it, but none of the applications I've heard of are free or easy to use. It's much better than the last manga I did, which I typeset entirely in my art program.

I found this chapter more interesting in how it depicts the raw perverseness and nuance regarding transvestite crossdressing fetishists. You rarely ever see it from self a aware lense. It's probably one of my favorites so far.

Him forming a crossdressing fetish from a sense of inadequacy and "failure" as a man, how he associates eroticism, humiliation, deviance associated with femininity and being a woman because of that. Because, whether he admits or not he subconsciously views women as weaker, lower, and lesser therefore it is more humiliating to be a woman. The other crossdresser's severe mix of envy, delusion, and narcissism that derives from turning girl-hood, femininity and "being a woman" into not only an object to own and use self-servingly but an objective to achieve and surpass, therefore making him believe he's inherently ""better"" because he's performing his fetish to his own perceptions and fetishistic standards of women and femininity. It's way too true to real life.

I really wish we got more realistic depictions like this in manga that has transvestic crosdressing as a fetish as the main theme! I want to see how this author tackles fetishes like masochism or sadism, or things like feet, age-players, or adipophiliacs.

Like maybe someone muscular that wears pastels? Other than being assumed to be a gay bear maybe that’d Lower ppls guards or So, tho other than brand name showing wealth maybe all the yakuza in games dress “tacky” (imo) to standout / be flashy bc who would insult some full bodied tattooed gangster for wearing a golden Hawaiian shirt to their faces lol

Hm, mildly off topic but given how this cafe came to be known as a “place for perverts” as well as it being on the internet, even tho it does focus on one person per chapter you’d think there’d be 2-3 randos in the background even if it’s not particularly busy, privacy aside

If not some normal but slightly annoying “influencer” coming to do some kinda vlog/interview tho I imagine mc would wanna avoid being filmed /having his face on camera/social media

Because I already know how to use ppt and it does the singular thing i need it to do: put text boxes on my images. It's not worth the time to learn how to use a whole other program interface lol (I'm terribly stupid when it comes to software ngl)
