It's crazy to see this end after all this time. It feels very anti-climatic, but this story felt like it stopped really having any direction about a third of the way through, so I'm not sure what kind of ending would have felt more satisfying. The obligatory moving in together scene would have been nice atleast...

Overall, I don't think this story really left much of an impact on me, but it was still a really surreal experience following it for so long. It feels like the pace that chapters released about matched the pace in world

Yes, I am aware of the red thread of fate (and its not just Chinese), but the red ribbons (or strings if you prefer) are tied to rings, the global (due to Western influence) symbol of marriage.
