@Thoxi1026 It was probably just him saying 「はい」, and while it can be directly translated as yes, it’s often used as just a general affirmative. A similar thing probably happened with her “good luck”. I haven’t seen the raws, but I imagine she said something like 「がんばれ」(ganbare) which translates to “do your best” but can be localized as good luck. I think it would make sense for them to both only say a single word because they’re both bad at talking to the opposite sex.
