also, is the the girls apply to different award event than the guy ?
that page say Hibiki won grand prize, but why everyone seem to all on this Naoki prize ?

To the above, Hibiki just entered a high school competition, the major prizes are national literary prizes hence the press conference.

It’s also nice to see Hibiki not physically maim someone (or herself).

The girls won the highschool literature competition prizes. You can't just submit your work to the Akutagawa and Naoki prize competitions. There are professional channels for that. Hibiki got her work submitted BY A PUBLISHER after going through the publisher's selection process.

IMHO, it's totally unfair for an Akutagawa-Naoki winner to submit her work to a highschool competition. I mean, NORIKO ALSO WON. I'm sorry to say this, but that's basically the level of competition there. It's like dropping Ultra Instinct Goku into the 21st Tenkaichi.

I feel at a certain point its an honor to submit a work to an award. Another is that you defintitely need another award category for everyone else.

Takaya actually let it slip. He's into Kayo. Well it was obvious, but I didn't think they'd act on it.

Strange seeing Hibiki take a more calm approach and not be a total a**hole. She's still her, but her edge is less than it used to be.

Now I await the inevitable confrontation between Hibiki and Ryou. Its about the only thing that keeps me reading, since the Hibiki-crazed antics feel like they are over(no spoilers or hints to future events please).

True, but once again Kayo is to blame, cause she basically forced Hibiki by authority of the Club President. (I am of course aware that no one can force Hibiki to do something she doesn't want, but even she might give in to peer pressure here)
