Self explanatory. I think it would be fine to have more control over what we want to see and from whom in the default pages since the option dropped doesn't hide the mangas you don't want to read. For example, if you don't like a particular scanlator's work or a concrete author or you only don't like an specific work from said author.

In my case, I read all genres but I don't like the majority of shonen ai and shoujo ai, still there are certain works I like from those genres. I don't want to filter the entire genre and decide for myself if I want to read it but since last updated is my usually to go page when I want to read something new, I don't want the last updated page to be flooded with updates of mangas I don't have an interest.

and if there aren't preexisting discussions for the other features that you suggest, they would probably be best considered in separate discussions.
