Its basically the same as the American colonization or what the Romans did.
The Europeans thought of the native Americans as lesser people and "claimed" the land for themselves.
All the while ignoring the native " uncultured barbarians".

And for the dimensional people who run the organization ( who probably are lower then rank 6 )
They probably consider earthlings as ants.
Why would you care about the ants living on the land you plan to build a trade hall on ?
