realistic but how the writer portrays the main character thinking is bad.

Main character: Humanity can't win against them so just build a bunker and live the rest of my life. Help the least amount of people and just let the monsters go on rampage and kill as many as they like.

USA wasn't hit heavily by the bombs so it seems like it is hosted there
If there was a safe haven like that, then the protagonist should've considered it, although i can understand that the plot requires him to stay in the korean peninsula.

This is one of the few manhwa I would say, that adapted the novel quite faithfully. As of this comment being posted, only 23 chapters have been uploaded. I would highly recommend reading this, and it’s novel.

man i can tell that the plot is going to be insane. I think the lack of explanation for what's happening actually works in this type of story. We get it mostly from the main character's perspective, but we catch occasional glimpses of both what's happening outside and who the main character is. However, I really don't like how the narration of the story happens. The whole thing feels like a speed-run. I'd have preferred it to slow down, let us fully immerse ourself into the main character's world pre- and post-apocalypse.

Usually you see this sort of story-telling in synopsis chapters (chapter 0), breezing through the basic story so you can get a general idea of what it's about. However, it honestly seems like every chapter is set up in that way. I figured it was just speed running pre-apocalypse to get it out of the way, but then it kept with that way of narration until my current chapter post-apocalypse, so, despite the insane potential, gonna have to pass on this one.

This manhwa is great.
I like the vibe of "veteran" post apocalyptic. The main character has great experience about the enemy. He also understands his situation. The world has fallen apart and he is too small to change anything so he made the decision to "live boldly". He chooses to "survive".
The thing that I really hate about OP main characters is that the challenges they have are too easy to deal with and the story is nothing fun anymore because we know the OP main character will overcome any obstacles in his way. But with this development story like this manhwa, it feels like the main character may make some mistakes that can cost him everything and it will be more crazy in the post apocalyptic world.
