rereading this again for umpteenth time since i originally read this over 10 years ago and i still can’t get over how asami intentionally did this to haruna. yoh was right when he said she has a bad personality. and to top it off, she blamed haruna for it all like girl....

... at first i was confused to asami's real intentions but this just cleared it up

first off, i guess fumi kinda deserved it because he was manipulated way too easily but, i would probably be like him irl
second, asami is such a bish, thats it, i hate manipulators. i cant understand HOW asami became friends with haruna when asami HERSELF was the one who pushed haruna and yoh to be close, so, yeah, i dont understand her abrupt change.
third, if fumi and haruna did truly love each other, they would have another chance at love even if right now, fumi is taken. or maybe thats my idealistic self talking, after reading way too many love stories. i guess, in real life, its possible that you wouldve fallen and had a relationship with someone else just because of a small miss or change in opportunity, huh?
and fourth, tbh fumi and haruna may be a good couple but, yoh and haruna would be better right now since yoh would really be able to take care of her since yoh is capable and is aware of relationship stuff. so. both couples are good, but yoh would be better, simply because hes more mature in relationship aspects.

and, i finally figured out why i kept reading this. and why i like yoh so much. its because yoh feels so similar to kou mabuchi, and i just LOVE IT SO DANG MUCH <333333

Yeah, I got those vibes that Asami uses people for her own amusement when she was talking about how funny Haruna looks in the baseball video. It's like she wants everyone to pay attention to her & she kept talking about Haruna like she was some weird novelty and not her friend. So I'm not really surprised but I hate the "Well I didn't have to tell you" part. Yeah technically she didn't but as a friend, you give your other friend a heads up at least as courtesy & let them know. It's like she's mad Haruna is a full formed person who is attractive and needs to knock her down a peg to go back to the weirdo she thinks she is.
