"demons who aren't truly evil aren't really demons"
the writer have some problem with the definition of what a demon is. it's basically a word for scapegoating and excuses to do things that society doesn't accept. evil is evil. it exist within everyone. you don't have to be a demon to be evil..just look at our presidents and leaders from the past and the present. are they "demons" in the literal sense? no, but people say they are demonic to invoke the perceived notation of what society believe to be the absolute evil. hence the word, to demonize others. the kick here is that demons, have never done anything. in the bible they always talk about demons and lucifer/satan but they've never DONE anything. it's actually humans who "heard gods words" that took action and killed many. when they want excuses they say, "demons made them do it".
this premise in the beginning. i don't like it because i already know that the mc will keep to this way of thinking which is foundationally wrong. i don't follow characters that have different core concepts to mine. demons and humans are just a race. evil is an ideology that can be found within all of them. i just don't like this black and white kind of thinking especially if they are the MC. im really hesitating if i should follow when the story starts off like this.
