interested to see how this overbearing presence of sound injections. the ribbits, the shriis, they show its summer of course, but they seem to emphasize a sense of being overwhelmed or distracted? something like that...also seem to correlate for moments that are intense for yoshiki

I really like the overwhelming onomatopoeia, it shows such an amazing buildup. At least to me, it occupies the same role as rising speed and volume in a horror movie soundtrack. And then there's always that moment of silence right after, it's like the exact opposite of a jumpscare. It raises the stress and tension in a scene the same way a horror movie with actual music would, but then it just gives you a moment of silence to juxtapose it. It's so uncanny in the best way
