i do feel like mc will still try to have a "normal" life with "hikaru", even with the lingering thought with all the murdering he's done and tried to do, because he's a teenager and with a crush on hikaru and still extremely attached to him, so he's bound to make mistakes and the wrong choices here just like "hikaru" is doing ... in a way, they kinda mirror each other, even if "hikaru" is only doing it because he basically stole those memories.... the comment that some spirits are just lingering emotions is interesting, wonder if that's what the creature is. I hope this manga is hella long...!! thanks for the episode orz!!

i also think it's interesting the way this manga deals with teenagehood and boyhood... I can't wait to be a few years from now and to be able to go back and reread everything and be able to put every thought I have about this series in a smart way....!!!

I like where this is going, he must have realized now that even tho "hikaru" is hikaru, the morals are not the same. Obsession even, like a lingering ghost that hasn't said or done its last wish. The soul is not there or something. I wonder if he erased Asako's memories.

Same. I get that they're translating from the Kansai dialect (correct me if I'm wrong) so they're having the southern/country accent be the English equivalent but it just doesn't work the same way lol. Wish they just kept it normal, the translations don't even make sense sometimes because of the forced southern twang :/

I just noticed something. Whenever 'Hikaru' starts to unravel his form, usually we see it begin in his left eye, which is the same eye that the real Hikaru had blood leaking over. Don't know if it means anything, but thought it was neat. (Small theory but maybe Lord Brainsnatcher entered Hikaru through his left eye and the hole in his head that he got after falling?)
