Took me about an hour and a half to read this whole manga (27 chapters) and the plot was just the right size and depth for a coming-of-age movie vibe. Chef's kiss. It was simple and enjoyable.
Checked it out bc the Houkago Kitako Biyori webmanga is popular rn, I think this is a lot better though.

I've read about ten chapters in the last half hour and couldn't agree more. Houkago Kitaku Biyori seems charming and is off to a good start, but I knew from the first chapter that Hikaru was something special. I'm already completely enthralled and will likely finish it this afternoon. Thanks for the recommendation 😋

Big tip:

This manga references real pop songs which can be listened to in Youtube. In fact listening is an absolute must if you want to get a real vibe of the singing and the dance choreography shown in the manga.
