Him inviting a guy friend so he won't be the only guy in the group was a realistic, nice touch by the author.

I'm getting close to dropping this. Tenichi is so dense he bends light, and all the stupid facial expressions he pulls are starting to irritate me. Plus he is classic beta simp, in that he is bottling asking Honoka out. Add the fact that the harem is absolutely pointless. At least in Nisekoi, members of the harem were active in getting him. All of these are orbiting him so far out, they may as well be the International Space Station. Apart from asking his opinion on stuff or getting him to do stuff for them, none of them actually cultivate any kind of relationship with him. If he is a beta simp, then so are all of them in return. I say he is dense, but I don't blame him for not knowing they are interested in him, as they have not shown a single shred of evidence of interest. They don't even come across as good friends. I know I will not be able to watch this as an Anime, with Tenichi pulling all his stupid faces, coupled with shouting dialogue. I'll give it one more chapter, and if is keeps just churning all the usual elements, it will be more fun watching a washing machine at work.

Pick a lane, author-san! I'm still just not convinced why he would need to quit being Himari's cleaner because he started dating Honoka. I said this about the last chapter, but you can't have Iemori be so dense he can't see Himari's feelings for him, but also inexplicably have he and Himari both agree that he'd have to quit his job cleaning for her because it would somehow be a problem. Why? It can't be "it doesn't mean anything, it's just a job" the entire time up until the plot needs conflict forcing Iemori to waver on his feelings for Honoka.

I get that he's destined to end up with Himari, but for how well written everything was up until now, this is kind of annoying lol.

LOL it's a manga, not a realistic guide to relationships. Enjoy it for what it is, a light-hearted story that's mostly designed to entertain and yes titillate (pun intended). You folks must hate soap operas then, because like those mid-day vehicles, it's designed to push a drama plot, as inconceivable as some of the twists are.

Also - great artwork. Very clean and crisp. As someone who can't even draw a straight line with ruler support, it's fascinating stuff.

I'm just guessing, but him still being a cleaner for Himari once he starts going out with Honoka would kind of scream "infidelity" or something, so to avoid any jealousy, he'd have to quit anyway.
Would normal people actually think/do that? Dunno, but it could make sense.

Nah, it is just a weak and forced attempt to add jeopardy and drama. It will never make sense, unless you treat him as the wife and they are getting married, so he has to give up the job to be a home-maker. I think the suggestion is that he won't have time to have a romantic summer if he is working, which is just plain stupid, since you don't go from 0 to 60 and spend every waking second of summer together.

Hey, I've never said I agree with the logic the story provides either. I just said it "may" make sense, somewhat.
I'm definitely not happy with a bunch of things right now, but the art style being this good keeps me entertained.
