I thought Kanna was doing maneuvers around the competition with the "hanging out with the siblings" angle, only to get sent back a few steps. Guess the author recognized that the other girls were getting smoked with all the advances Kanna was doing, so they had to address this first before romcom shenanigans ensued once more with Himari and Honoka.

You rarely see a love interest being this mature or so obvious about going after an mc, I really think this has got to have an either an omnibus ending so every girl gets her win or a harem because I don't think many could bear to see any of the girls lose!

as I have said every chapter this arc:
I am 100% on Team Honoka but Kanna's inevitable loss is going to make me more angry than Kannai's.

@Vikingix has it. She is telling Ten she's interested in him romantically, has a crush on him, and knows he's got a crush of his own - but doesn't care, she's going to make him fall for her and forget Kannai.
Its dumb, but honestly I've known both sexes go after someone with the exact same intentions, the just didn't announce them. So its "dumb but within bounds of fictional actions" for me.

i get what people in the comments are saying, but i also have been at Kanna's place. i confessed to one of my girl friend, she rejected me, we agreed to keep being friend. might be weird for some people, but it wasn't for us.

This is just the author writing himself into a corner and not knowing how to get out of it.

Honestly, this is not really good writing. In fact this manga has been going downward for a while. Because these kind of harem shenanigans are not well done.
So we either get an undefined, open ended "will be harem in the future" ending. Or one heroine wins. I don't think this author has the balls and the capacity to actually write a proper, functioning, realistic "real world" harem ending.

I totally understand that.
My first love interest (and a real one) was unrequited, but she still became one of my best friend (that was 30 years ago).
From my point of view, true love is wanting someone to be happy. She married someone really nice, so I've always been happy for her.

And for fun fact, coinciding with Kanna's story, she had a love relationship (it was only the beginning and not sure it was real that much actually) but the one she is married to now still decided to confess. He knew she had someone, but he still wanted her to know. He did well cause he finally won her heart. And I think he was right.
