Might just be me but I actually like Himari and think her and the MC complement each other well. I also appreciate the fact that once she came to realize her feelings she didn't hesitate to act on them like Honoka has been doing for YEARS.

I don't understand why when an MC doesn't act on their feelings over a prolonged period of time people despise them but when a losing heroine does it it's "Aww the poor little lamb is just too shy, she deserves to win!" and that the author is just doing them dirty. Still wouldn't be mad if there is a 180 and she wins just out of respect for going against the title lol.

You're absolutely correct, and yet Honoko tugs at my heartstrings still. Author has done a great job of making all characters at least somewhat likable. I really wanted to dislike Himari at first, but I can't pretend that she's done anything wrong.
If the author is determined to make Honoka THAT cowardly, and Iemori THAT fickle that he'd ditch his self-proclaimed 'heroine', guess I'll just have to accept it.
I think I've got a personal distaste about accepting when any character that's even a tiny bity tsundere wins.

I agree, I'm not into harems but I like this one a lot, I feel all of them have something that make them unique and likable, and stuff you also don't like which is how it's suppose to be, they also have people supporting them which is also cool. I'm going with Himari for sure tho
