Am I the only one who thinks his mom is kiiind of hot:coffee:

Also, the ex-slaves are definitely going to realize that Akiba is the same as Adachi and betray him
Thanks for the chapter!

I'm kind of glad Akiba's "tragic" backstory is
"He's literally a malignant narcissist who turned evil the second something mildly inconvenienced him"
instead of the author trying to make him sympathetic.

If they had tried to justify his behavior at all i woulda dropped it then and there. Instead, my despise of him only grows stronger and I hope to all that us unholy he gets what's coming to him.

At least there won't be cause for attempting to dignify Adachi's non-constructive sadism for the foreseeable future...

So the opponents just stood there the entire time and watched it all... Bruh...
I imagine one of them said "I'm not about to catch any of that smoke.", and another one said "This shit kind of kino, though...".

Akiba is a very unlikeable character but I think it’s pretty clear that he’s been mentally ill since early childhood. I’m pretty sure the author is showing us his side in an attempt to make him sympathetic through pity. His mind is so backwards and delusional that he sees himself as a hero, and it is kind of sad that someone can be so out of touch with reality.

But yeah, that aside, this guy needs to die. He’s irredeemable

They were "rooted" - it's a coming debuff in gaming to just immobilize your opponents so all you have to do is go around them instead of engage. But he one-shotted that one girl's head, so the power difference between them is probably exponential.

That said, Akiba is either on the spectrum or is a straight-up sociopath. He doesn't actually understand how other people's emotions or thought processes work. Sadly, if he had gotten some counseling to help him better navigate people he probably wouldn't be where he is. The people around him and the culture he's in prevents him from gaining that emotional understanding prior to him becoming the inhuman monster/criminal that he's become.

Thanks for the translation.
i don’t understand people posting about how they dislike the manga.
If you don’t like the manga that ok but don’t complain here.

The picture gets clearer now, doesn't it? From my layman point of view I can get that, first he is a pure psychopath (no empathy, no remorse, disinhibited, egotistical) and also somewhere on the spectrum (can't understand social interaction and non verbal communication), it's incredible he just can't notice he did anything wrong, it's completelly beyond him he did anything bad, he's genuinelly confused by other people horror at him, and it's great that nobody did anything wrong to him growing up, they just failed to notice how dangerous a monster he could potentially be, scary stuff.

More likely a combination of sociopathy and narcissism than him being some kind of autistic.
He doesn't just lack empathy, he outright rejects the mere CONCEPT of other people having their own wants and desires.
Anything that does not immediately revolve around his well being is met with scorn at best and violence at worst.

Yeah, I don't get it either, why would people read this thing if they don't enjoy Akiba and his torture adventure? This manga (and even more so author's current work) is pretty much a sadist fantasy and should be enjoyed accordingly, why are they still here if they can't see that? It's like coming into a yaoi thread and shit on it for being yaoi, just doesn't make much sense.
