Hello everyone. This release isn't a full repost; it includes the second half of chapter 1.

I've mentioned this in the notes at the end, and just thought I'd re-iterate this here both in the series comments and in this chapter comments, for whatever it's worth. I know this will cause confusion, and I'm sure some people will just gloss over the chapter update notification, not getting to read the second half. I apologize. I'll also add a note about this at the very beginning of the next release which will be the first half of chapter 2 and a reminder to go back and read the second half of chapter 1.

Chapters for this series release in halves. Due to MangaDex rules, I have to combine parts into one chapter when they’re all translated. Hence I will be posting partial chapters as I do them, and when the last part of a chapter is complete, it will be released in a repost that combines all previous parts (which will be deleted).

The notes page of the older part will move to the end of the combined version, for which I’m now also using a 2-page format (one for chapter/translation notes, and a personal notes one), instead of condensing things. I’ll also try to adjust the notes themselves accordingly.

I know this may be inconvenient for people who read as chapters come out, but I was explicitly instructed to do this after I asked staff for some help with issues I've been facing with uploading the second half of chapter 1 (hence the slight delay). I'm sorry. Please bear with me!

Rule 2.2.2 itself is what was quoted to me by the staff member who instructed me to combine the releases. I also did bring up that the source was split in this same way, but apparently Tankobon release format takes preference over magazine/web format. I'm not a fan of arguing further with higher authority so I just left it at that.

P.S. "Halves" is just how it's been so far btw; who knows, we might get chapters with more parts.

The sniper's version sucks (probably because it was lazily taken from a Spanish translation of the chapter, judging from page 20), so why they chose to do this is beyond me.

Surely there is enough precedent at this point with other popular series being released as .1 and .2 chapters to use that style. Especially in this case where the source material makes an actual point of separating the parts and the second part doesn't just continue on from the previous panel. Appreciate that arguing against the higher powers is not appealing. Failing that is it worth just waiting longer and posting the full chapters as one instead of each part separately then combining?

I really wish at some point we get a manga adaption of First Loves Kiss and I really want Iruma to one day write a happy ending for Takasora but somehow I just don't see either of those things happening.

There is plenty of precedent for releasing chapters in parts. I've done it, others have, it's not uncommon. I don't know what weird rules are in place but I've never seen anyone have issues with uploading half chapters as they're available.

You can literally see chapters from other languages posted for this series in parts without being combined, so yes, clearly the "rules" are not so enforced. I probably would've been fine continuing with that format if I stayed under the radar, but the main issue here is that I personally was explicitly told to combine, which in itself is a result of me having had issues with uploading the new part on MangaDex (which was by no fault of my own, it was on their side), leading me to take it up with the staff. Now that it's come to that, I can't really just ignore the instruction and act as if I didn't understand or know the rules -- I'll look defiant and they'd have reason to take actual action against me or the uploads themselves.

Man, takasora really is a character. The fact that she seriously injures her head at the end of her nightmarish story because of being distracted after saving someone is such a cherry on top.

I’ve been waiting for the manga for this. I don’t know where to read novels but I’ve seen posts of this on fb and news about it and heard it’s good so I’ve been looking forward to it.
It looks good and I’m still intrigued to see what happens.

If anyone knows where to read novels not just this but many Yuri novels and recommending what to read I’m open to it. I’d really like to read this novel and others.

I was just seeing the manga got into recent update n thought "Huh, another Korean or Vietnamese upload I supposed ?"
Turns out I was 2 days late for the English TL lol

Secondly, I actually prefer this version, it may not be the same all the time which is understandable
But I do appreciate the different fonts for Ichigo-sensei's n Rin's dialogues, I frequently lost at who is talking when they are not in the panel www

This sounds odd as Hell.

Just post the full chapter once you have all the parts,that's the current movement all accross Mangadex because people are rightfully fed up with online publishers chopping chapters up(the authors/artists rarely[if ever]do that)in order to stretch their pennies just for scanlators to do the same because Mangadex isn't clear about this nonsense.

A complete chapter flows better and is easier to remember,along with actual comments made regarding said chapter can now do it with the whole info available,anything else is can't be argued.

Would it take longer for each chapter to come out?,yes,but there's already so Goddamn much to read and wait upon that it's prefered to have fuller content,some are even waiting literal years for a scanlator to come along and start/continue/finish works,with plenty more watin' for those to heal the holes left after the massacre.

Your best bet would be novelupdates. Though, many translation groups are just using MTL these days, so I'd recommend checking if the translations are decent enough.

@SakiHitto Thanks for reading, and apologies for the trouble with regards to the update! Hopefully this won't cause confusion from this point onwards as I'll try to aim for full releases every time.
Just wanted to note that the different fonts do not always indicate different speakers. The different fonts mostly indicate a form of change in the manner of speech. In the case of the " different font" you usually see in Rin's dialogue, it's just supposed to indicate a gentler, more carefree speech.

@NARESH4444 At the very least for the next couple chapters, that will be the plan, since the next couple chapters unlike chapter 1 are actually continuous across their "parts", so releasing them partially will be extremely odd, not to mention that the entire thing is as long as one half of chapter 1, so it would be a very small release if I did each part individually. This will probably continue to be the norm so there should be no issues.
The point I made about releasing each part as I do it is something I only planned to do when the parts have a clear contextual disconnection (just like in chapter 1), and are long enough to be their own chapter.
Additionally, I planned to do that only till we catch up to the raws. While we're behind, I didn't want to keep people waiting too long for each chapter. Once we catch up, we'd be on a monthly schedule with the parts of a chapter releasing at the same time, so yeah.
Also, this series isn't chopped up to stretch the pennies; the parts of a chapter release at the same time. It's just that there's usually some separation between in the magazine release they're in.
