right so lets recap real quick: when he regrouped with the girls, its safe to assume he was level 7-8 and that happened from only killed like 10 goblins and 10 kobolds, thats a rough estimate, then, after he regroups with them but before they reach the city, he kills about 10 orcs, 30 goblins and kobolds, and like 30 wolves, one of which was a rare, and he only gets like 1-2 levels???? MOVING ON, he then kills a bunch of goblins, a level 23 or something goblin king, then a level 50 goblin emperor, and yet he gets again, only 2 levels???? I can understand what the author is going for here with the slow level, but for one, its wayyyyy to slow, and second, the distribution of leveling so far is super unbalanced, he killed like 20 monsters and gets like 8 levels, but when he kills like 100, 2 of which are really high leveled, he gets 3 levels in total?

"That guy"? What guy? Is it this Tanaka guy? It looked like he was referencing his earlier self when he was sneaking about. Has he gone so insane that he is picking fights with his past self and believes it is someone else?
And what happened with the Goblin Emperor? Why was the fight just skipped?
And what was the point of the new skill? He didn't even use it, did he? And nothing was done to clarify what it even means.

Everyone thought Tanaka was with the geeks, I believe. He should have been. The thing is, Tanaka isn't just a geek, he's a sociopath. The only one who recognized that was Haruka, because Haruka, despite being an introvert, is VERY VERY good at recognizing characters.

Maybe necro, but he has EXP penalty for Jack of All Trades (or Master of None, can't remember) skill. It was mentioned in the first chapters. He can level up and gain more skills very fast, has pretty good stats, but his actual level raises painfully slow. That plus he can't form parties with others to power level so to say

So I started reading the light novel of this story and one really interesting thing to me is how important it is that Haruka calls Tanaka by his name.

Is this chapter broken? It went from the middle of the fight with the goblin emperor to some random exposition with Tanaka when he's never met Tanaka before and has no idea he's the "hooded figure"?

... And no one caught that this is the only person in the entire world that Haruka can remember the name of.

He can't even remember the name of the class president or the people who moved in with him for a week, he just gave them amusing names like "Bitch Leader," "Nudist Girl" and "Vice President B."

But he knew Tanaka's name instantly.

He had Tanaka pegged as a violent and dangerous sociopath long since before they isekai'd.

The only time we've seen Tanaka at all before this is Chapter 5, page 6, and it's mentioned so fast both in the manga and WN/LN that you won't catch on to the fact that Tanaka is the ONLY name the main character remembers or uses the entire story so far. (In the WN it's like, a paragraph, about how the math nerd is being picked on by the delinquents.)

Such wonderful foreshadowing.

I reread this série multiple times now but this is the first time I noticed this detail, congrats that was a good catch
