Honestly, a story with this premise, where chapters alternate between Isekai-Land where the hero is having his adventure and the real world where the hero's sister is trying to bring him back and you have trouble deciding who to root for: The hero overcoming his inferiority complex and finding his sense of self worth or the sister reuniting with her brother that disappeared and that she promised to save? Because the fact that both of these wishes are "pure" and could easily be the focus of a single narrative creates an interesting dilemma: Who's story is more important? Because they cannot both find fulfillment, and the fact that neither knows what's happening to the other makes it impossible for one of them to just give up for the others' sake. (Maybe the hero doesn't even remember that he had a sister.)
