Great chapter, I gotta say is much more interesting to see character talk about actual existing Media rather than have them be Otakus who are centered around something that we barely see, because...sure I get the sentiment but it might feel rather superficial or unsincere, if this expresses real thoughts by the author or at least feels rooted in reality, is gonna come out as more genuine.
Of course talking about Pop culture is not a straightforward road, there is Tarantino, there is Kevin Smith, the tv series Community and then there is.....Big Bang Theory (ugh).
