I like how, in this version, Kohinata is already openly showing possessiveness over Shiki this early, even if it's not something she'd say or act on directly...yet.

This ain't that kind of manga but I feel like Touka would try to worm her way into a threesome between the two leads if this were age-rated higher

"One Shot"... Do you mean like Special Move?

Or secret move. Literally it’s something like “kill on first encounter”. The idea is, there’s this move that nobody knows (maybe heard of, but never saw what it is) that can incapacitate the opponent instantly. Because the opponent didn’t know of it, they never knew what hits them, or how to defend against it.

Of course, it also means when the element of surprise is gone, such as when you fight the same opponent again, or from people who saw how you do it, then the effectiveness is very much reduced.
Like the “Oh hi, Kohinata-san!” move. People might get tricked a few times, but then they know it’s just a bluff.

If Touka didn't look the way she does, you could bet there wouldn't be so many people here complaining about her sexual antics. Mind, I hate that the only time I can see a girl like Touka is either as a secondary protagonist (or worse, not even a protagonist) or flawed (in this case, Touka is dissolute--a slut), or both (as Touka is here), but it's not a surprise: I can already see what kind of person the author is based on his characterization of this MC-kun--there are many out there like him who repeat the pattern. People like this author really don't like big breasts.

That aside, Touka says on page 22 that Ikaruga's the only person Karin's ever had difficulty fighting. Where have I heard that before?

PR is a role I've always had difficulty maintaining (even tho it's the easiest, lol). It's not fault to the people who do PR (it's already a miracle everyone is willing to do this for free). Yeah, i went for a more liberal translation because "kill on first encounter" sounded REALLY rough. And considering it's also used in the context of games, i used the term "oneshot", like "One shotting your opponent" in the sense of "Killing him in one single shot". Could have done better tho. He’s really a bro who simply wants to have a good fight.
Although, the girl he had a crush on is always those crazies.

Ikaruga’s faction has a lot of people who just like to fight, and he’s their token leader. So unlike Arai or Aguri’s top-down structure where the followers do what their boss says, they mostly just do what they want, but with a banner to unite under.

And he’s the guy who Arai see as equal. They often had friendly fights, and became friends.
So looking at that, Shiki beating Arai really look like a fluke and Arai taking him too lightly.
Karin’s words, in term of fighting, Ikaruga is like a the superior version of Shiki (he doesn’t have superior physical build like Arai, scheming skill like Aguri, or refined techniques like Karin; and his moves are mainly focused on kicking moves).

Also I forgot if it’s Ikaruga or Arai’s assistant whom Touka said she’s not interested because he got small dick.

Yeah, when people get closer, they would learn each other’s limit.
She knows it’s okay for her to show this kind of thing to them, and they will still let her go with a beating. It’s an annoyance, not something unforgivable. And I guess it gives sense of comfort because they know Touka trust them enough to show them this kind of behaviour, and Touka can feel their friendship is strong enough to not break just from this much.

You shouldn't be so worried: properly understanding the original text gives you better ability to produce a translation than the likes of a scanlator who just OCRs some text from a bubble and feeds it to a translation site, or anything similarly low-effort.

As long as you remember that the story is not yours, and therefore always seek to convey the original intent of the author as best as you can with the tools the English language provides and intelligence (e.g., understanding that, because there's no direct translation to English for them and the vast majority of manga readers are familiar with them, honorifics should not be translated), you'll do fine.

I'd be surprised if author wouldn't have Kitou use Ikaruga against MC somehow. Not sure how exactly (maybe weaken MC for lil bro? kinda simple for 200 IQ schemer, though), but seeing last two chapters focus on both of them just makes this an obvious conclusion.
