Except they might have a crooked cop in with the police, so they don't know if calling them means that they'll actually help, or if they'll alert their enemies, maybe even have them take their hostage elsewhere so they REALLY can't help her. It's tricky like that, before you even get to the issue of pride.

My prediction on the next chapter;

She’ll have the upper hand at first. Right before the finishing blow she’ll stagger because of the sickness.

He’ll pin her down and probably tear her shirt. Artist will make sure there’s a full panel dedicated to a shot of her torn shirt and bra.

One of the Lackeys will probably comment on her breast size.

Right before guy goes through with anything (he’ll probably have a crazed look on his face or tounge out) MC will show up by either kicking the door down or taking out a random guy guarding the area.

Seen it a hundred times, just want something new, but definitely don’t expect anything different.

Well, technically he CAN'T beat her at full strength. I mean, according to the flashback panels he was getting jobbed pretty hard. The only way he has a chance it to kick her when she's down. Sure, it's the PINNACLE in scummery, but does he look like a guy who actually cares, NOPE. I guess the last ass whooping wasn't enough.
