i find our mc's character reformation to be really bland. The contrast between his past and his present is not beautiful. He suddenly too polite. LIke if you were to be him but without the transmigration bullcrap, even if you choose to reform your behaviors, the jerkness (where he would even spit to his mother) still needs to be there but toned down.
Scenario of him meeting the martial daughter shouldnt lead him to proactively try to apologize. Instead the martial daughter would challenge him into a fight as a progress to have a new relationship in a better start.
