I honestly pictured the husband to be some kind of guy who's tryin his best at work for his family. But welp can't make the victim sympathetic right?Darn it so it did happen, the husband was revealed to be conveniently neglectful and "antagonistic".
I was worried that the author would cop out and do this.
It's a lazy way to handwave away cheating themes in stories.
Yeah, now I'm just gonna give up and expect Hinata to face no consequences for her actions.I honestly pictured the husband to be some kind of guy who's tryin his best at work for his family. But welp can't make the victim sympathetic right?
Funny how you fucks headcanon this and then get mad that it didn't turn out that way, going to bat for a faceless man who has literally never appeared.I honestly pictured the husband to be some kind of guy who's tryin his best at work for his family. But welp can't make the victim sympathetic right?
And this honestly feels really out of place, because previously author showed their conversation on the phone, and he didn't seem so bad, he was caring about herDarn it so it did happen, the husband was revealed to be conveniently neglectful and "antagonistic".
This is common in japonese culture.Darn it so it did happen, the husband was revealed to be conveniently neglectful and "antagonistic".

Yeah that's where my worries come from, cause I have seen this convenient "spouse is neglectful" plot way too many times before in other stories as an easy out to avoid having to deal with the nuances of the main characters engaging in cheating. This is common in japonese culture.
Marriage obligation are still common in eastern, is still common see hear about woman quiting their work because they should be housewifes. Theme like loveless releasonship, true love and cheating are so common is seinen novels because this kind of culture. So yes, we will discover that guy is cold and also have a mistress
PS: sorry for my poor english
I don't think there's anything indicating that he was callous or neglectful, just that their relationship never worked out after their marriage. They probably stayed together for their daughter's sake. There's a few lines in a much earlier chapter that imply they haven't been intimate since Hazuki was born.Oh come on author! We already saw the husband was a hard worker and blissfully ignorant of his wife’s needs, not a callous older fashioned man! (but it won’t change my love for the series)
I'm fairly certain the author is a woman. And this honestly feels really out of place, because previously author showed their conversation on the phone, and he didn't seem so bad, he was caring about her
I think author finally understood that he fucked up and tries to give Mizuki SOME justification for what she's doing, but this just feels strange
I agree! Hinata pretty much manipulated the housewife into spending any time with her and then pretty much blackmailed her with spilling what they did together to keep her on the hook.I fucking hate how manipulative Hinata is, and how Mizuki goes along with her every wish
I hate them, I hate them, I hate them.
Just when Mizuki starts to really think things through, here comes Hinata and says "Nope, sex time!"
Let them be caught already
They can't keep getting away with this!
