How Are the MD Lists Being Sorted?

I've about 40 MD Lists at the moment and as far as I can tell, there is no rhyme or reason to the order they're being listed in.

After creating the "RoS (Long-Strip)" MD List and seeing how far it was from "RoS (4-koma)", it dawned on me just how odd this sorting is.

As far as I can tell, these aren't sorted by newest, oldest, name length, number of items contained, or whether they're private or not.
I'm also pretty darn confident they aren't in alphabetical or reverse alphabetical order.

So that raises the question, how the heck are these being sorted then? They can't not be being sorted in some way, does anyone have any idea how?

P.S. I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right forum/category, so if I should post this somewhere else, please let me know where that is.

There is a method in which they are sorted, but for all practical purposes just consider it random at this time.
