How do I stop getting notified for every post in every that after I comment there?

I only want to get notified for replies and all new posts only in threads I created. Right now if I comment on any thread I get notified for all new posts on that thread, and it’s making my notifications way too cluttered. How do I stop the forum from doing that?

Oh yea I found it. I think it was the option:

Automatically watch content you interact with…

I thought this was needed to give me notifications to replies but then it turns out that’s a different option.
