How do you make your postings private??

im so sorry if i sound stupid but ive left a lot of cringe ass comments in the past, and i dont want to have to delete all of them but i also dont want to make a new account. i just got back to using mangadex for the first time in about 2 years so im not familiar w the new layout

BTW just to clarify im talking about the things that show up when u click this

is there any way to private them on your profile?? i dont want people being able to see the things i used to say LOL

iirc you can put your whole profile to private in Privacy > View your details on your profile page > Nobody.
It's not perfect (it will hide everything) but at least people shouldn't be able to stalk your messages history directly this way

unfortunate that ill have to private my entire profile, but tysm! helps a lot : )

Sorry for necro but I don't think that works, I can still find my past messages by hovering over a users name and then clicking on messages

Try doing it whithout being logged in. I think it works for you bevause I have the message :
"This member limits who may view their full profile."

oh you're right just checked and I do get that message, but I think I found a work around for looking at someone's past messages by hovering over there name and clicking the number under messages, which I was hoping you could make private but It doesn't look like it unfortunately

You can only browse the posts in the forum not on your private profile. If you want to delete them you need to ask a mod to delete everything. I am not sure this is what you want to do.
