Welcome to the antepenultimate chapter! Only two to go! Here's some extra notes, and quite a lot of them this time compared to last time (probably because this chapter is dialogue-heavy, and so will be the next).
- (p. 3) Family of shitty eyesight. God, I can relate.
- (p. 3) A child would not know the meaning of the words "remedial classes". But they would know what "summer school" means. This ends up being a bit of a point of confusion by p. 6, when Kawashima-kun compares his excursion with "summer school".
- (p. 13) A closeup of Tsugumi's scarf includes the Houndstooth pattern, also called the "dog's tooth" pattern. The fact that Tsugumi was called a dog just a couple pages before was probably a coincidence, but I found it funny anyway.
- (p. 19) This is a callback to Ch. 11, p. 21. But for some reason, the bubble order was reversed.
If this series is starting to get you into photography, why not take a look at
Teo Crawford's beginner guide to film photography? I absolutely love with photography (and have for
years), and I find it fun seeing other people's film photos. My parents had a Kodak Instamatic back when
they were young, but the 126 film that it requires is really rare nowadays since it stopped production decades ago, so I never got to use it. Of course, digital photography works just fine too, if the price is a bit too steep.
That's all for now. See you all in the next chapter! Hopefully very soon!
