The very first chapter had Kawashima win an award in school for submitting a photo of a smiling Tsugumi. His photo was literally put up on display for everyone to see, and the real Tsugumi got pissed at him for having a photo like that because it never happened in real life. So yes, other people can see.

I have...many issues with this series, but one of my major ones is that Kawashima is projecting the camera girl as the real Tsugumi and vice-versa, when very clearly they are not. He says he is in love with Tsugumi? I feel like that's at least partly a lie. He's in love with this idealized version of her, the photographed version of her, who acts completely different.

Like, I feel like the author is trying to do this tsundere bullshit, where the real Tsugumi is the tsun, the harsh one, and the camera "Nakami" version is the dere side. And if the author really is trying to do that, that's stupid as shit. Kawashima isn't seeing some "hidden" dere side of Tsugumi. He's seeing a completely different, supernatural thing that is not Tsugumi.

You know what would be awesome? If this series just takes a horror genre shift and reveals there's a malevolent shape-shifting spirit living in the camera, and then things go worse from there. That'd be cool.

Maybe there's a slow development where as the 'outside' Tsugumi smiles more and more, the 'inside' Tsugumi smiles less and less. The camera always portrays a Tsugumi that's the opposite of the real one.

And then as real Tsugumi grew more and more affectionate towards Kawashima, the Tsugumi inside Kawashima grew angrier and angrier.

Thus on the morning after, Tsugumi woke up to find Kawashima dead, his eyes plucked out.

I have made comments on two chapters of this series. That's it. If that counts as "time and again", then you have a messed up idea.

I don't need to. Given the premise, it's already hard to make stories based on it, and I'm impressed that author wrote whole 2 volumes.

The last paragraph of my first comment, about making it a horror series, was a joke. It was supposed to be completely outlandish and unlikely that it was supposed to be obvious as a joke. But apparently, not everyone can realize that it's a joke.

I'll use words like "good" and "better" if they are accurate. And I gave specific, concrete suggestions. Look back at my comments on chapter 7. Why did the author have to just massively change the event for the sports festival? The author could've easily just had the event be the same, but then the other characters invite Tsugumi to be a part of the event. It would've accomplished all the same story roles without making things weird.

Look at the scavenger hunt. The author could've reasonably just had Raika go around to the participants and convince them that Tsugumi was the answer to the papers. That makes it much less bad than her literally cheating, destroying the competition all for her own personal satisfaction.

I've seen a couple of stories specifically using this exact same premise, with a possibly magic camera showing the "true" personality of another person in a romantic story. I don't recall offhand, but I know there are some manga series specifically. You're just wrong.

Second, this is just showing you being lazy. The story has clear flaws of how people act. But you just willingly sweep it all under the rug and then whine when people point out what you swept away.

listen, either it's your sincere frustration/irritation, or plain whining, my advice still stands, if it's the former, I believe you'll go and find similar manga which is closer to your liking. If it's the latter, then you'll save your time.
