While I do kind of like this focus on the auxiliary characters going on, I can't help but feel the overarching plot of all this is a bit rehashy. Like after all this with the setting up of the new crew are we just going to do the big fight against Lee Jin-Ho again?

I know, and the 'NewTube' gimmick has kind of died off as well. I kind of wonder if it should have ended with Lee's original capture, then the author take a break to set up a 'season 2' like Breaker back in the day. Wheels are kinda getting spun. It also feels really sad to no longer have Fight Chicken videos, that was the funniest part. Though the design at least comes up. It's nice to see how far Hobin especially has come, but just taking on Lee again is lame. The only interesting thing I can see coming from this is if the new food-obsessed guy manages to backstab Lee and take over as the main villain.

To some extent, I was thinking they might have ended up going a little more 'official' with some huge fighting tournament, rather than continuing with this criminal focused stuff.

Has Man-Gi even shown up since the new guy did?

Huh, Taehun is still no stranger to using weapons. He could've just kicked but oh well I guess he was thinking he might be up against an axe wielding guy. and his legs cant exactly resist a sharp object like that.

Where did Taehun hide the money though. did they literally steal it or just put it in some kind of drop off location and he contacted hobin to pick it up for evidence? but its just money. blood money sure but money.

Its nice that Taehun got some backup. he's going in with no weapons tho and they have axes. but luckily he got Joshua. Both of them are DEFINITELY gonna fight each other next after all this.

as per the comments above, yeah I can agree. this season 2 is not as interesting as season 1. I mean the stakes are higher but our characters have powered up so much that these stakes are balanced out and its not thrilling anymore. At least so far the scholar students got me interested but to fight Jinho again yeah I agree its kind of repetitive. hopefully the scholar students like take control over Jinho and they're the new villain. and yeah sadly, the Newtube theme is lost. the author did try with the "pretend marriage couple" arc which was ridicuously stupid and im glad its done but the streams, the chat, learning new moves from samdak...I miss that formula.
