In Wi Pyeong-oh's (위평오) introduction in Chapter 155, he says he's from Hong Kong. Doesn't that mean his name should be in Chinese?
The official English version translates his name into Mandarin as Peng Ao Wei (in Western name order). However, his page on a Korean wiki claims (albeit with no source) that he's named after Hong Kong actor Paul Wei Ping-ao (魏平澳), which should be a dead giveaway for how his name should be translated (if the claim is true).
Since he's from Hong Kong though, I think it might be apt to translate his name as Cantonese, which several sources state is Ngai Ping-ngo. But all sources I can find say 澳 is pronounced Ou, not Ngo, so perhaps the name should be Ngai Ping-ou.
However, this chapter shows that he is speaking Mandarin, not Cantonese. In Cantonese, "sorry" would be 對唔住, but here he uses the Mandarin expression 对不起. So maybe it should actually be Wei Ping-ao after all.
In any case, since Baavgai was properly translated as Mongolian, I just think that Wi Pyeong-oh (or rather, Wei Ping-ao) should receive the same treatment.
