If this were a bit more realistic he'd be slapping the shit out of her every time he goes into one of those little rages. If this guy ever comes to know and truly regret the damage he caused then I might stop detesting him but I know this genre. He must be arrogant and cruel with a soft spot. He must be a tyrant, except with his lover. He's likely not capable of remorse. I don't know why I keep doing this to myself.
