Right afterwards a maid delivered that cooked manga meat covered with honey.
The meat that Adrian supposedly bought when he went out to the market that day.
Doesn't that mean that Adrian brought the two goons into the mansion and killed them there?
There was some running and chasing too.
How risky.

And Hilda, you should have tried the spell's efficacy first before doing anything else. Rather than 3 minutes, I think he will just sleep for 3 seconds because he would immediately realize the unnatural sudden sleepiness. Then he will pretend to sleep to see what will happen.

The doctor is much more deadly than it seems. Killing people for 40 years is something not to miss.

Btw I've noticed an embroidery frame on Hilda's desk and it made me thinking. How is a goat doll made for the countess? The last time we heard about the mascot is during the visit to the temple, and it was kept in a bag. Was it finished and given to the countess?

Adrian is definitely jealous. I wonder when it's confirmed he's yandere for Hilda.

I think the doctor didn't kill all these people. Adrian was the killer, and the doctor was paid to provide the targets and handle the aftermath (corpses etc.)

That 40 years you got was actually the result of a typo. The last murder should be at 470 (Hilda listed the last three kills above), which is just three years ago. Not 430.

Don't fully disagree with your point, but I think Adrian would be quicker to realize something is going on if she used multiple times.

Thank you for pointing out! I thought it's easier to make a typo in "the first/last date" than in a number. It shows how typos in text may lead to wrong assumptions.

Or the typo is left on a purpose to highlight Hilda's illiteracy...

EDIT: Hilda in chapter 11 made errands in the town with the list given by Katarina. She does asked for random stuff in specialty shops (like tailor items in a potion shop), but eventually got all things from the list. Is she really illiterate, or she only know supermarkets in the modern world?

She could ask her friends who are literate to read the list.

If there's noone who can be asked for help, she can just show the shopping list to the vendors and say, "Excuse me, I want to buy these items," or "May I ask where I can find these items?"

And presenting herself as a servant from the very famous house would deter most vendors from scamming her.

Right above that bit she recounted his last 3 murder (464/467/470) so that 430 is likely meant to be 470 (which also showed up earlier in the part about payment..that is missing 467...)
