As mentioned, since becoming chief advisor Hideyoshi was referred to as denka/tenga (殿下), which commonly translates to "Your Highness". Hideyoshi is not royalty, this is specially allowed to the chief advisor (kanpaku)/taikou. It was translated away previously into "my lord", "Taikou" - I figured it's better to translate to "Your Highness". Sorry for confusion.
