A messenger from Kyo just arrived here in Bizen.
His letter said Lord Nobunaga escaped Akechi's assault alongside Nobutada and the two fled to Omi unharmed.
Though this is wonderful news, we cannot be too careful at this time, so I have withdrawn to Himeji Castle.
Finally please give Furuta Sasuke my regards.
