The translation is fine, but the localization is nonexistent.
That's why it seems "barely coherent".
If you know the lingo of how chinese manhua and how 1:1 chinese translations look like (for example auto-translated novels), this chapter makes sense
This feels like the translator just did a first draft and that draft was never looked at by a proof-reader.
